Welcome to the new UTS Tigers website. UTS Tigers is a rugby league club run with the support of the University of Technology, Sydney Union (UTS Union) and rugby league foundation club, the mighty Balmain Tigers. The club encourages student participation but is open to all people, students or otherwise, who want to play rugby league. It fields 1st and 2nd grade teams in the NSW Tertiary League competition. Training is at Blackmore Oval on Wednesdays and Tempe Recreational Reserve on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00. Games take place on Saturdays and the home ground is Balmain's historic Leichhardt Oval.

Training before and after Easter

Training is at 6:30 on Wednesday and Thursday at Tempe Reserve. After Easter, Wednesday training will be resurrected at Blackmore Oval in Leichhardt while Thursday training will continue at Tempe Reserve.  

Slight shift in training venue

Training will move across the road from Tempe Velodrome to Gough Whitlam Park on Bayview Road, Earlwood. The move should give us a better playing surface.

Training is on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6:30.

Training shifted to Thursdays

Training will be moved from Wednesdays to Thursdays for the remainder of Febraury. The start time remains at 6:30. The venue is Tempe Velodrome, which is located next to NSW Touch at Waterworth Park.
