Welcome to the new UTS Tigers website. UTS Tigers is a rugby league club run with the support of the University of Technology, Sydney Union (UTS Union) and rugby league foundation club, the mighty Balmain Tigers. The club encourages student participation but is open to all people, students or otherwise, who want to play rugby league. It fields 1st and 2nd grade teams in the NSW Tertiary League competition. Training is at Leichhardt Oval No 2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00. Games take place on Saturdays and the home ground is Balmain's historic Leichhardt Oval.
We launched utsrlfc.com in May 2011 and we're rolling out new parts of the website every few weeks. In time you can expect to find club news, match reports, draws, ladders, stats and player profiles, so bookmark this page and come back regularly.
