Tigers experience grand final heartbreak yet again

The 2013 first grade grand final turned out to be another tale of heartbreak for UTS Tigers. Again, a minor premiership and grand final qualification at the first time of asking had created great expectations. Again, the Tigers came up just that little bit short on the big day.

Firsts to GF, seconds out

The last day of August coincided with the first week of finals football at Norford Park.

Anthony Turner's second grade put in its worst performance of the year to lose to Cumberland, 34-4. The elimination final loss ended the Tigers' dreams of a third consecutive premiership. Match report to come.
